London Marathon 2024

The 2024 TCS London Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, April 21. The Elite Wheelchair races will begin at 8:15 am, followed by the Elite Women’s Race at 9:00 am, and then the Elite Men’s Race along with the Mass Start at 9:40 am.

THIS year’s London Marathon will take place on Sunday, 21 April, with 50,000 runners set to take part.

The elite and wheelchair races set off at staggered start times, with the wheelchair field starting at 9.05am BST. The elite women’s race starts at 9.25am, while the elite men take off at 10am.

London Marathon 2024 start times

Here are all the times you need to know ahead of Sunday’s big race (in BST):

9.05am – Elite wheelchair men’s and women’s races
9.25am – Elite women’s race
10am – Elite men’s race and mass start

Keep in mind that due to the staggering number of runners, some people may not cross the start line until around 11:30am.

LIVE STREAM AND TV COVERAGE: 

The event will be broadcast live across various countries, with the live stream starting at 8:45 am GMT.

How to watch in the USA: FloTrack will be streaming the race live. The elite women’s race begins at 4:25 a.m. ET on Sunday with the men starting at 5:00 a.m. ET.

How to watch in the UK: BBC One will have live coverage from 08:30-14:00 on Sunday with an extra hour of coverage on BBC Two from 14:00 to 15:00.
